Best of 2024/2023 Sketchbook
Those are my favorite sketchbook pieces.
I’m aware it’s a little all over the place, but it’s a great representation of what’s really happening in my sketchbook…
I did a lot of Pinterest studies and unfortunately the original owners are never mentioned so I tried my best to give some credit in the captions under the drawings, or at least say where they’re from and if I own the character or not.
So yeah, about the process, my favorite thing to do is sketch with a cheap colored pencil and trace over with a mechanical pen or a regular pencil.
I’m never using an eraser, each drawing took 5 to 15 mins, never over, so some of them might look a little wonky (but it’s the whole point of doing sketches and warmups).
I didn’t touch any of them on computer, it feels a little truer this way I believe !
